Emily is SDA’s Research Assistant and provides support across a range of projects.
Emily joined SDA in 2013 with varied experiences working across the heritage sector in local museums, archives and at heritage sites. In 2012 she graduated from Royal Holloway University’s MA Public History programme, which included specialist training in oral history.
At SDA she has been particularly involved in interpretation planning, leading on research and content generation. Emily is a skilled researcher and has been responsible for primary and secondary historical research, including archival research, on several interpretation projects. In 2014 she led on content and storyline development, as well as scripting, for the interpretive scheme at All Saints Church, Kingston, and on historic research and storyline development for Whitehall Museum, Cheam. She is experienced in audience research and consultation and in evidence analysis and interpretation, and has supported a range of SDA Evaluation Projects.
